Requirements

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus
  • Hands-on experience with Go or willingness to become proficient
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and best practices for reliability and scalability
  • Familiarity with SLI/SLO concepts and performance monitoring, memory and cpu profiling, caching
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across engineering, DevOps, and product teams
  • AdTech experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go
  • Build and optimize distributed systems to support high-volume, low-latency transactions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including WebExperience (ad rendering and performance), InApp, DevOps, and Product teams
  • Ensure reliability and stability through well-defined SLIs and SLOs
  • Participate in architectural discussions and influence long-term technical direction
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies: 2-week sprints, daily standups, grooming, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Monitor and maintain system health using Grafana and Prometheus
  • Contribute to the migration from Redis to Valkey and optimize database usage (DynamoDB, SQL)
  • Work within the AWS ecosystem to ensure scalable and secure deployments
