Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a strongly typed language, with Rust being preferred, and demonstrate proficiency in a Linux development environment. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and code optimization is required, along with experience in areas such as SLAM, robotics/ROS, vision systems (OpenCV), localization, and control systems. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, is also required.
This Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and integrating autonomy into edge computing systems, developing and testing software solutions within Software-in-The-Loop and Hardware-in-The-Loop environments, leveraging existing mesh network hardware for real-time communication, and collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams. The role also involves leading and mentoring a small software team while balancing multiple projects and implementing modern DevOps practices.
