Requirements

Strong foundation in software engineering principles
Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++
Experience in object-oriented programming (plus)
Experience working in Linux-based environments
Experience in defining requirements and test cases (preferred)
Experience in designing or architecting automated verification framework and tests (preferred)
Experience with CI/CD and related tools (preferred)
Experience with cloud platforms/deployment and web services (preferred)
Experience with databases (preferred)
Eager to learn Bioinformatics
Excellent verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills
Curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly

Responsibilities

Lead and execute testing strategies for data analysis software within cross-functional teams
Design, develop, and maintain automated software verification framework and scripts
Collaborate with bioinformatics scientists to support data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to tool development
Participate in Code and Design Reviews
Ensure Software Development Life Cycle best practices and regulatory requirements are followed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development and testing efficiency
