Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience building production applications, with hands-on LLM integration including tool use, retrieval, evaluations, safety/guardrails, and tracing. Strong proficiency in Python (APIs, async, packaging, testing) and TypeScript with React is essential. Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or DynamoDB, log/event pipelines, and a hyperscale cloud platform (AWS preferred) including compute, messaging, storage, CI/CD, observability, and IAM basics is required. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are necessary to partner with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will build agentic services in Python using frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain, integrating with frontier LLMs. Responsibilities include integrating with enterprise platforms and APIs to automate workflows, designing and developing web applications using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS, and creating data and retrieval patterns with databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, including RAG, evaluation, and guardrails. The role also involves building backends in Python with FastAPI, contributing to CI/CD processes, collaborating with DevOps engineers on infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred), and instrumenting services with tests, monitoring, and safe rollback mechanisms.
