Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional working experience
  • Experience building backend services and APIs, along with data processing pipelines
  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems
  • Experience with Go
  • Experience with Public clouds, such as AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Proficiency with testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 360 degrees view of development process lifecycle
  • Team ownership focus across all phases of development, from launch to maintenance
  • Collaborative mindset that values trust in the team
  • Experience with large-scale and highly performant technical projects

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a software platform architecture responsible for handling customer journey of security installs, reporting to the Director, Engineering
  • Build and maintain health management of all of customer's installed resources
  • Build micro-services handling datasets from large-scale customers from around the world
  • Work on solutions designed for scalability, reliability and performance
  • Think creatively on solving novel problems
  • Collaborate across the organization to understand user needs from the product team, execute development activities, collaborate with quality and then follow your solution into production by overseeing and monitoring its usage
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issues
