Requirements

  • British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship (Security Clearance requirement)
  • Strong proficiency in software programming in Core Java and/or C++
  • Proven record in delivering software products on several complex systems
  • Experience and knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, especially software requirements and design
  • Experience of developing and managing software requirements through the whole lifecycle and ensuring the developed software satisfies the defined requirements
  • Experience of building internal and external stakeholder relationships, especially to develop and validate software requirements
  • Collaborative and open approach to problem solving with strong communication skills
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and helping develop other members of a team
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Analytical with high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Join the New Product Development team working on next generation mission planning and control products
  • Work with international teams and stakeholders to lead the development and delivery of software requirements and design through the complete software engineering lifecycle
  • Take the lead in technical implementation and delivery of complex solutions
  • Support and mentor other engineers in the team
