Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, along with 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering. Required certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. Proficiency in .Net (specifically .Net Core 3.1 and 8), cloud architecture, cloud-native design, cloud computing, storage, database technologies, information security best practices, AWS compute, messaging/queueing, blob storage, and database technologies is essential. Experience with AWS Glue, CloudFormation, MySQL 5.7 and 8, NodeJS, Python, requirements analysis, systems design, SDLC models, Application Lifecycle Management, data structures, and algorithms is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the AWS Cloud, providing technical support and innovative solutions. Responsibilities include architecting, maintaining, and operationalizing cloud-based .Net applications, designing, implementing, integrating, maintaining, optimizing, and administering cloud solutions, infrastructures, and platforms. They will evaluate, test, design, develop, and integrate new cloud technologies, support and maintain existing software functionality, investigate and correct defects, and improve software maintainability and performance through refactoring. The role involves full lifecycle responsibility for features from design to deployment, performing pull requests, branch management, build and deployments, and building and deploying CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the engineer may serve as a technical lead, review technical design documentation, participate in technical reviews, and create software documentation.
