Candidates should have experience developing software applications using Java, asynchronous request handling, and Kafka. Familiarity with Java libraries like SpringBoot, experience with release management, and knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins are required. A strong understanding of database management systems, object-oriented development, and computer hardware/software, including systems architecture and networking, is also necessary. Experience with testing frameworks, unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting tools like Splunk and Grafana is expected.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain Last Mile Delivery software applications, focusing on high capacity, availability, and user experience. Responsibilities include hands-on engineering for front-end web applications, managing software code across multiple environments, and participating in the release management process. Engineers will analyze business requirements within an agile framework, perform software design for new projects, and troubleshoot production issues. They will also implement operational excellence using monitoring and alerting tools, build n-tier applications using Java/J2EE, Oracle, No SQL, and RESTful services, and ensure code quality through testing. Additionally, the role involves modifying existing software, developing testing procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define specifications and resolve customer problems.
