Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Software Development
Experience building scalable, distributed systems using modern frameworks such as AWS
Experience providing technical leadership to engineers, leading an engineering team, and/or mentorship
Specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning
Demonstrated work experience with at least one set of AI tools
Demonstrated work experience with Python
Demonstrated work experience with AI/ML project
Demonstrated expertise in modelling, and in the development and application of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
Demonstrated AWS experience, certification is a plus
Nice to have: knowledge of Microservices design and development, and deployment in Kubernetes
Nice to have: NoSQL Database Design
Nice to have: Good knowledge in unit testing

Responsibilities

Work closely with architects and technical product managers to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software components
Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices
Participate in software design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security
Perform hands-on coding and write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work closely with peers and agile team in a fast-paced delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goal
Work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
Identify the scope of the work and provide estimates with good accuracy
Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through whiteboarding
