Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of experience and a BS in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience building backend systems in Java with significant Spring Boot experience is required. Responsibilities

The Senior Software Development Engineer will work as a hands-on backend software engineer using Java to extend functionality, lead development and refactoring, and support operations for Zoom Whiteboard, Notes, and Tasks. Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. The role involves developing scalable and secure RESTful APIs with Spring MVC and related technologies. Guiding performance tuning, monitoring, and observability of Spring-based services is a key duty. This position requires collaborating with product and design teams to build core features that satisfy security, privacy, and business requirements. The engineer will also work with operations teams to keep applications and services highly available and reliable.
