Responsibilities

  • Preparing Clio’s database infrastructure for the future in terms of scale and reliability
  • Collaboratively defining the roadmap to support business goals and satisfy application requirements
  • Investigating and solving performance problems with Clio’s MySQL databases and other data stores
  • Guiding development teams on how to improve and optimize their use of the databases
  • Scoping, defining, and collaborating with developers to implement automation and processes that power the reliability of Clio’s datastores
  • Working with the SRE team and helping develop their MySQL knowledge
