Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 6+ years of technical experience with established leadership credentials across product lines
Hands-on design, coding, and debugging skills
Familiarity with IoT technologies
Experience working with Cloud deployment
Proficiency in NodeJS Typescript, Angular, and Microservices Architecture
Working Knowledge of Python and Java programming languages
Shell scripting experience
Relational Database (PostgreSQL) experience
Non-relational database experience (Cassandra, CouchDB, MongoDB, HBase)
Experience using and designing APIs using REST, XML, and JSON
Exposure to SDLC principles, Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques

Responsibilities

Lead, consult or oversee multiple architectural engagements
Work on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge within a domain: technical, solutions, business or information
Be responsible for programming a component, feature and or feature set
Work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business
Contribute to design discussions
Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced and agile development environment
Translate requirements/vision into prioritized lists of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Define architectures for data acquisition and transmission over different communication channels into a data cloud, as well as the design and implementation of the defined solutions
Collaborate with development teams for cloud services and cloud application domain to ensure a consistent and systematic, scalable, and robust software system enabling reliable data transmission from edge devices
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques
