Responsibilities

Conducting advanced research in AI and machine learning, staying up to date with advancements, exploring emerging technologies, and identifying opportunities for complex business problems
Designing and architecting AI solutions for complex problems, analyzing requirements/constraints, and proposing ML models/algorithms, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices, reviewing code/designs, and helping overcome challenges
Participating in technical discussions and providing thought leadership
Collaborating with stakeholders (product managers, data scientists, business analysts) to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions, ensuring cross-functional alignment
Driving continuous improvement and innovation in AI/ML practices, identifying improvements, exploring new techniques/technologies, and promoting best practices
Evaluating and integrating third-party tools/services to enhance AI solutions
Facilitating design review sessions for projects, ensuring alignment with requirements and best practices
Mentoring junior team members during review sessions
Collaborating with engineering manager and team lead to refine/iterate on design/implementation strategies and provide peer feedback
Participating in and coordinating meetings for effective team coordination/communication
Independently preparing/delivering detailed presentations/reports to stakeholders, translating complex concepts
Interpreting/reporting data findings and maintaining/updating BI tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods
Designing/developing solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, as applicable
