Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in an IT Help Desk or SOC-style role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, or Rust. A minimum of 2 years of experience with networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, and VPN is required, along with 2 years of experience in identity and access management concepts and technologies. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience) is necessary. Preferred qualifications include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, adaptability to new technologies, good time management, and a commitment to self-learning. Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior SOC Engineer/Analyst will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations by serving as a technical expert. This role involves investigating security alerts, developing automated solutions, and improving overall team performance through deep engineering skills and analytical capabilities. The engineer will also be responsible for collecting data from disparate systems to correlate and perform data analysis.
