Requirements

U.S. citizen residing and working in the United States
Willing and able to obtain U.S. federal security clearance (minimum Public Trust position)
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
Experience with Helm Charts and omnibus-gitlab
Experience with cloud-native services (e.g. AWS, GCP)
Experience with Prometheus and ELK
Experience with IAM, networking, and storage
Knowledge of cloud security best practices
Ability to engage with US Public Sector entities

Responsibilities

Design and implement automation that provisions and manages hundreds of isolated GitLab environments using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
Manage complex state strategies and workspace configurations to support scale and maintainability
Troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and GitLab apps—identifying root causes of failures
Deploy features and updates safely and consistently
Maintain operational excellence across many production environments simultaneously
Automate workflows across the full environment lifecycle—from provisioning new environments to daily operational tasks
Build and operate Dedicated GitLab instances integrated with cloud-native services
Develop tools to orchestrate infrastructure-as-code workflows across multiple tenants
Deploy and manage microservices on Kubernetes clusters at scale
Enhance GitLab’s observability stack to support proactive monitoring and incident response
Integrate with and operate infrastructure in cloud provider ecosystems
Champion and implement cloud security best practices across automated infrastructure
Ensure successful implementation of GitLab services to meet Federal and regulatory requirements
