About the Role

As a Senior Site Reliability Developer, you will collaborate with our DevOps teams to support our Spectrum (Shaw Systems) partnership. Your focus will be on SRE/DevOps contributions, including automating build pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and scripting. This role will leverage AWS, automation tools like Terraform/Ansible, and involve working with Java-based applications, Windows, and SQL Server 2019+.

Responsibilities

  • Build a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud-based platform.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Build and scale the technology infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand.
  • Manage cross-functional requirements by working with various company stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Development and QA teams to launch new features and services.
  • Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including after-hours tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production-level SRE/DevOps experience.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of AWS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2019+.
  • Understanding of Java applications.
  • Strong understanding of systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in automated build pipelines and continuous integration.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (Visual Studio / SQL Server 2019+).
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and cost management tools.
  • Strong programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Spectrum (Shaw Systems) experience is a plus.
