Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of combined experience as a software, infrastructure, and/or security engineer, demonstrating success in designing, implementing, deploying, securing, and monitoring highly-available, critical production systems with broad company impact. Expertise with AWS Service Control Policies and permission boundaries is required, along with hands-on experience with a variety of technologies and approaches in both cloud infrastructure and security spaces, such as service identity, workload hardening, networking, authentication and authorization, and software supply chain. Experience with software development, preferably in Golang, is also necessary.
As a Senior Security Engineer, Infrastructure Security at 1Password, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining tooling, software, and systems for securing the company's cloud infrastructure. You will own the delivery and success of infrastructure security projects that span engineering teams, working with cross-functional partners to define the best security solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers, translating technical and compliance requirements into engineering execution, prioritizing projects, driving project execution, and planning future work.
