Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Security operations of systems supporting: Virtualization, Windows and Linux Computing solution engineering and architecture solutions
  • Experience with on-premise, cloud and hybrid-cloud based deployments
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles
  • Expertise in Linux-based operating systems: Red Hat, CentOS, VMware, KVM, QEMU KVM
  • Windows operating system environment support (Servers/Workstations – standalone and Full enterprise deployments)
  • Multi-platform support of OEM appliances, Windows and Linux VMware based appliances (End user/Virtual Infrastructure)
  • Ability to install and operate Trellix, SentinalOne, Splunk and other related security and analysis systems

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring junior and mid-level staff in best practices for installation and operations of security products/practices
  • Patching and remediation of monitored systems and networks with the team
  • Tier 3+ service support, interfacing with Tier 2
  • IT service delivery, assurance, and operations to include but not limited to documentation: OPS, SECOPS, Systems
  • Assist in developing new shared services (product deployments, customized solutions – Internal/External as needed)
  • Providing technical implementation support for security compliance and system accreditation processes
  • Leading in the integration, configuration, deployment, security remediation, and operations of systems including networking, computer/virtual infrastructure operations, threat detection software and systems, threat analysis and action, and new technology integration with built-in security engineering
  • Handling day-to-day security compliance and user administration
