Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in a security engineering role. Strong experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat hunting is essential, along with a solid understanding of security frameworks and best practices.
The Senior Security Engineer will monitor and analyze security event logs and alerts to detect potential incidents, lead investigations for containment, eradication, and recovery, perform in-depth analysis of security incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence, enhance detection and response capabilities through automation, develop and maintain incident response playbooks, enrich security events with threat intelligence, collaborate with security stakeholders, conduct proactive threat hunting, identify and prioritize vulnerabilities, and regularly conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
