Requirements

Many years (at least 8 years) experience in sourcing and procurement consulting, specializing in SAP S/4HANA implementations
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement modules (e.g., MM, Ariba). Hands-on implementation experience is required
Proven leader who mentors teams, driving success through effective collaboration and strategic direction
Experienced in managing SAP projects, aligning with client expectations, and delivering on time and within budget
Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex business challenges and design effective solutions
Excellent verbal and written communicator, engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Fluent written and spoken German and English
SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Advise/Lead the creation and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies in SAP S/4HANA, aligning with client business objectives
Evaluate procurement processes to pinpoint improvement areas, leveraging SAP S/4HANA to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Create and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions for sourcing and procurement, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems
Work with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure cohesive procurement solutions that effectively address client needs
Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance to maximize value
Perform market research to stay informed on industry trends, supplier dynamics, and innovative procurement practices
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain
