Candidates must have 10+ years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP IS-U EDM and Device Management. Proven experience in SAP IS-U customizing for utilities clients (DSO or supplier) is required, along with a strong understanding of MaCo Cloud, MPM, and IDEX for market communication, including MSCONS, SAP IS-U data model, ABAP customizing, and sandbox development. Familiarity with smart metering protocols and device integration standards, experience with SAP Cloud for Utilities or S/4HANA Utilities (greenfield preferred), and experience with migrations (mapping, transformation) are also necessary. The ability to debug and collaborate with ABAP developers is essential, as are excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in Polish (C2 proficiency) and English (C2 proficiency). A broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience is expected, along with experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for various audiences. Project-related mobility and willingness to travel are also required.
The Senior SAP IS-U Customizing Consultant will design and configure SAP IS-U processes for EDM and Device Management in a greenfield SAP Cloud for Utilities environment, including working with smart metering infrastructure, interval data processing, and device lifecycle management. This involves leading the customizing and configuration of SAP IS-U modules for EDM (Interval data capture, profile management, settlement, forecasting) and Device Management (Installation/removal, meter reading, smart device integration). The role includes designing and implementing cloud-native utilities processes using SAP Cloud for Utilities architecture, evaluating user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Billing, Market Communication, ABAP, Integration) to ensure seamless process orchestration. Responsibilities also cover conducting client workshops, gathering requirements, translating them into functional designs, supporting end-to-end Meter-to-Cash process flows with a focus on data accuracy and automation, and ensuring compliance with energy market regulations and smart metering standards. The consultant will provide guidance during testing, cutover, and hypercare phases, and mentor junior consultants while contributing to internal capability building.
