Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a back-end engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development, including Apex and experience with various Salesforce APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming)
  • 1 year of Python experience with back-end API development and a strong understanding of API design principles
  • 5+ years experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization
  • Proficiency in Apache (inferred from incomplete text)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce using Apex, triggers, and Visualforce
  • Architect and build high-performance back-end APIs using Python to facilitate communication between Salesforce and external systems
  • Write efficient and scalable code in both Apex and Python, with a deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits; actively monitor and optimize code to ensure platform performance
  • Implement robust security measures across all APIs and data integrations; ensure systems are fault-tolerant and highly available
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure the health and performance of all integrations and back-end services
  • Partner with Salesforce Administrators, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
