Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)
  • Experienced and proven track record of successful sales in the diagnostics or medical devices industry
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic products, laboratory workflows, and the UK healthcare market
  • Experience or knowledge in tender management with openness to learn and work on complex tenders
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time predominantly within territory but also within the UK and abroad as required, including overnight stays
  • Valid UK driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory by retaining base business customers and displacing competitors
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, laboratory managers, and purchasing departments
  • Present and promote diagnostic products and solutions to potential and existing customers through in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, especially by expanding menu and introducing new products
  • Collaborate with solution design teams to develop effective sales strategies and value propositions to customers
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent the company and network with potential clients
