Requirements

  • Track record of research excellence with publications in top conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, JMLR, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, ACL, EMNLP)
  • PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in deep learning, machine perception, or related areas
  • Programming skills in Python and/or C/C++; fluency in modern deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch (CUDA is a plus)
  • Ability to lead independent research in machine learning while collaborating with peers
  • Ability to publish original research and speak at conferences and events
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, research-focused team
  • History of mentoring junior engineers and interns (a huge plus)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in machine perception, including computer vision, sound understanding, vision and language
  • Work on transfer learning and few-shot learning
  • Perform research in deep learning and representation learning
  • Engage in embedded learning and learning on the edge
  • Publish research work and share code as open source
