Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field, along with at least three years of industry experience developing production-grade SQL pipelines for large-scale databases. Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical programming is required, alongside experience with Git version control and command-line workflows. Familiarity with healthcare data models and U.S. medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, NDC) is also necessary, as is hands-on experience with administrative claims, EHR, or equivalent RWD.

Responsibilities

The Senior Research Data Analyst will architect end-to-end programming pipelines for large-scale healthcare data extraction, transformation, and validation using SQL, leading the implementation of analytical plans featuring complex statistical modeling in R to support HEOR/RWE studies. They will maintain high-quality standards through rigorous documentation and version control, produce publication-ready deliverables, and present interim and final results to cross-functional stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute observational research studies, validating analysis work, supporting internal tool development, and contributing to publications to enhance Komodo’s scientific presence.
