Requirements

  • Fluent German skills (required for role focusing on Germany, Switzerland, and Austria)
  • Postgraduate degree in Economics (or related field, based on "Postgraduate degree in Eco")
  • Full Measles immunization (facility-based requirement in Germany)
  • Willingness to travel 30% of regular working time, mainly within EMEA (some outside EMEA possible)
  • Ability to work remotely (home as primary location, with occasional attendance at Medtronic locations)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams (outcomes research, clinical research, regulatory affairs, marketing) to support product development, launch, marketing, patient access, reimbursement, and formulary acceptance
  • Deliver relevant data and tools to meet country Health Technology Assessment (HTA)/reimbursement/funding and access needs within the EMEA region
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to obtain reimbursement and provide support in HTAs and funding submissions within EMEA, with focus on DACH region
  • Execute health economic (HE) projects pre- and post-launch, including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and cost-of-illness analyses to support market access strategies
  • Develop product value stories and identify evidence needs specific for reimbursement; influence regional/global clinical trial programs to fill clinical data gaps
  • Analyse and communicate relevant evidence to target audiences within the region, including publication of research findings
  • Develop and deliver focused regional master files/value dossiers for effective and timely use in countries
  • Support local countries with selected reimbursement/funding/HTA submissions
  • Collaborate with regional, country, and business unit partners to understand reimbursement/funding gaps/needs and drive initiatives to deliver economic value of diabetes technologies
  • Provide therapy-specific and general reimbursement/HE education and training to key internal and external audiences within the region
  • Contribute as a member of the international team, ensuring efficient use of data/tools and knowledge across the region
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and execution
