Requirements

  • Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact) for API compatibility across microservices and external integrations
  • Knowledge of testing Node.js/Express.js applications, PostgreSQL database interactions (via Sequelize, Knex.js), including functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and resilience tests
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker, including continuous testing and shift-left practices
  • Experience verifying infrastructure deployments on AWS services such as ECS Fargate, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation
  • Background in chaos engineering (e.g., AWS Fault Injection Simulator) for validating system recovery and fault tolerance
  • Collaboration skills with frontend teams using React.js and Material-UI
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA roles, axe-core) and Core Web Vitals
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and audit-ready documentation
  • Experience leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot for test development, test data generation, and defect clustering
  • Ability to mentor teams and participate in code reviews focused on testability and maintainability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for backend services, RESTful API endpoints, and frontend integrations using Webdriver.IO, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright
  • Implement contract testing (e.g., Pact) to ensure API compatibility across microservices and external integrations
  • Design and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and resilience tests for Node.js/Express.js applications and PostgreSQL database interactions
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker, with continuous testing and shift-left practices
  • Verify infrastructure deployments on AWS ECS Fargate, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation for functional, non-functional, and resilience requirements
  • Conduct chaos engineering experiments (e.g., AWS Fault Injection Simulator) to validate system recovery and fault tolerance
  • Collaborate with frontend teams using React.js and Material-UI to ensure smooth API consumption and UI quality
  • Apply accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, ARIA roles, automated audits (axe-core), and validate Core Web Vitals for performance
  • Participate in Quality script code reviews with a focus on testability, maintainability, and quality
