Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • 6 - 9 years of experience in Performance engineering
  • Hands on experience in Performance scripting, execution and analysis using Jmeter (HTTP/HTML protocol and Webservices)
  • Hands on experience with Rush Hour performance testing infrastructure
  • Hands on experience in Datadog, Performance infra setup in cloud
  • Hands on experience in chaos engineering tools and understanding of concepts
  • Well versed in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Memory, Heap, Thread dump analysis, Memory profiling, CPU Profiling
  • Expertise in Complete JVM Analysis
  • Ability to design Custom Jmeter scripts for Reactive APIs
  • Ability to analyze the root cause of Performance issues using Dynatrace/JVisualVM/JMC
  • Experience in Shell/PERL/UNIX scripting
  • Intermediate work experience in JAVA and Python
  • Designing end to end performance frameworks including Capacity planning, Load simulation, Setting up observability dashboards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to diagram and summarize design solutions comfortably to a broad and diverse population
  • Interact effectively with peers to resolve issues
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of intellectual curiosity

Responsibilities

  • Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability
  • Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability
  • Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions
  • Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements
  • Evaluate system performances and recommend improvements
  • Generate periodic performance reports for management review
  • Identify and provide innovative solutions that improve the capabilities of the performance engineering center of excellence
  • Handling end to end Performance engineering projects by collaborating with Development teams, QA teams and Business partners
