About the Role

• Description: The QA Engineer will work directly with product teams, participating in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions to provide quality input. You will identify testing strategies for various features and functionalities. Within the first year, you will develop an understanding of delivering high-performing software at a fast pace, working in an environment that promotes ownership at all levels, including configuring and monitoring apps in production.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional/performance tests by spinning up disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations.
• Develop test automation at the pace of feature development utilizing functional and performance test frameworks.
• Customize, configure, patch services, and deploy infrastructure and code changes all the way through to production.
• Analyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in a non-production environment.

Requirements

• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium Webdriver, Playwright, TestNG, REST Assured)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• SQL knowledge
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Sumo Logic, Prometheus + Grafana, Honeycomb)
• Experience with messaging queues (Kafka)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
