This role offers a hybrid schedule requiring employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed for emergencies, training, or other business requirements.
The position is located in Westwood, MA, and supports Major Project requiring regular travel to Greater Boston.
The role involves independently managing large CAPEX transmission construction projects in Connecticut, including planning, engineering, siting/permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close out phases to ensure completion efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
You will manage traditional projects requiring close stakeholder interaction, such as large substation construction projects, new transmission line projects, major transmission facility expansion projects, or projects of medium/high complexity with multi-discipline nature and multi-stakeholder involvement.
You will work closely with management personnel in Transmission Asset Management, Transmission Planning, Design, Land Planning, Construction and Test, Finance, Regulatory Relations, Legal, and Purchasing, as well as integrate and manage a cross-functional project team.
