Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 years relevant drug development experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 2 years cross-functional project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience supporting cross-functional drug development teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, creative problem-solving, and influence/negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for drug development functions (ICH and FDA)
  • PMP or other Project Management certification/training preferred
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of Program Director(s), facilitate product development projects and programs including those involving pre-clinical and clinical research and development, commercialization, and product lifecycle management
  • Develop and keep up-to-date project plans and timelines
  • Anticipate issues and proactively mitigate risks and roadblocks
  • Manage meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting facilitation, documentation, and communication (e.g., distribution of minutes)
  • Drive project teams to achieve targets within appropriate quality standards, deadlines, budget, and resources
  • Drive project-level decision-making and facilitate resolution or escalation of issues
  • Ensure appropriate and effective communication within the project teams, senior management, and the program core teams
  • Provide formal and informal reports of project status to stakeholders
  • May take on additional responsibilities as delegated by the Program Directors
  • Support process initiatives and continuous improvement as needed
