Requirements

Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or related field is preferred
7+ years of experience in construction project management
Thorough understanding of the building design and construction process
Construction management experience related to base building, commercial, cultural, life sciences, corporate fit-out and/or developer work
Experience with site construction
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Nitro), and project management platforms such as Procore or equivalent
Local on-site support in San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities

Participate as an active member of a team of dynamic project managers in executing a complex, multi-phased program
Construction oversight, design management, contract management, and project communications
Monitoring progress in the field, schedule analysis, and quality control
Building trust with and having direct interface with the construction team and client decision-makers
Participating in high-level meetings, including strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, initiation, procurement, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases of the project
Identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies
Overseeing and preparing accurate project documentation for all phases of the project
Advocating on behalf of the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications or change orders
Participating in tracking and processing invoices, purchase orders, and other financial commitments, exposures and obligations
Maintaining relationships with the wider construction industry, trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations
