Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in project design, including renovation and new construction projects. Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks is essential, along with a strong understanding of building codes, safety requirements, and sustainability standards.
The Senior Project Designer will lead the development of detailed design drawings to SD Level, utilizing 3D models and technical documentation, ensuring designs meet client specifications and relevant standards. They will conduct feasibility analysis studies, create space planning initiatives, and coordinate infrastructure support needs for lab and office renovations and new construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to align design intent with project goals, participating in design coordination meetings, and delivering design packages on schedule. Additionally, the Senior Project Designer will provide technical guidance to junior designers, conduct design reviews, and manage project budgets and schedules, while also demonstrating comfort with ambiguity and effectively communicating complex concepts to various stakeholders.
