Requirements

  • User obsession and a deep understanding of users and their workflows.
  • Experience designing scalable user experiences for complex domains.
  • Ability to design and iterate on ambiguous and broad product surfaces.
  • Experience owning the end-to-end user experience for an entire product.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for design and research workflows.
  • (Science background is a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on users, their usage behaviors, and scientists’ research workflows within the first 90 days.
  • Talk to users and obsess over user feedback and usage data of beta users.
  • Proactively seek, facilitate, and apply feedback from customers, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Determine if and when product areas or information architecture need to be revisited.
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and consistently re-evaluate the product roadmap.
  • Be an active member of the BioRender Design team, critiquing and driving continuous evolution of the product, design system, and design practices.
