Requirements

Advanced insurance product & services industry knowledge, experience and skill set for executing product performance evaluation on complex cases
Subject matter expertise and advanced Allied risk management operational knowledge for evaluating policy changes, tracking system changes, risk management operations issues and claims processing issues
Ability to work with underwriting staff to critically evaluate options and alternative solutions to difficult and complex problems requiring broader understanding of issues impacting product performance
Advanced product and operations knowledge for data mining, collection & preparation from internal sources (databases, spreadsheets, platforms) and external industry data sources
Ability to analyze difficult and complex data sets using advanced statistical model techniques and data analysis methods to identify trends, patterns and create predictive projections
Knowledge to lead strategic initiatives for product and service performance improvements driving operational efficiency, cost minimization, claims reduction and revenue maximization
Ability to proactively manage and lead product performance profitability process and regional profitability with field and RMO leadership
Skills to implement product level corrective or positive measures with direct impact on profitability
Capability to evaluate difficult and complex issues and implement improvements to processes, systems or products enhancing innovation and performance
Ability to follow established underwriting guidelines and CPFM department processes to independently analyze and document cases

Responsibilities

Establish and lead company growth and profitability objectives for RMO Lender Placed Insurance Programs, services and manufactured products while ensuring regulatory compliance
Conduct risk management evaluation, including corrective performance evaluations of individual client premium and claims experience to ensure client profitability and retention
Execute thorough case management performance process
Provide measurable input and lead product development and operational efficiency improvement initiatives to enhance revenue, reduce operational costs, improve underwriting process, mitigate risk and reduce claims via enhanced coverages and ancillary risk solutions
Negotiate and sell underwriting reasoning to Senior sales leadership and Allied’s senior leadership team
Lead training and mentoring of other underwriting team members
Establish key elements of tactical and operational RMO product performance plans and initiatives (30%)
Utilize expertise to execute product performance evaluation process on complex unprofitable loss ratio trends (30%)
Recommend and direct corrective performance changes for policy, tracking systems, risk management operations and claims processing issues
Coordinate efforts with department leadership and lead implementation of corrective actions
Research and identify potential causes of premium, revenue, claims and expense trending
Analyze data sets, interpret trends and create predictive projections to drive improved results and profitability
Lead strategic initiatives for product/service performance improvements
Proactively manage product performance profitability process and regional profitability with leadership
Implement product level corrective/positive measures impacting profitability
Evaluate complex issues and implement improvements to processes, systems or products for CPFM team, risk management products/services and business practices
Independently analyze and document cases following underwriting guidelines and CPFM processes (Pricing & Underwriting, 30%)
