Requirements

Candidates must have over 2 years of experience facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI planning with Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and development teams. They should also possess over 2 years of experience managing product backlogs for agile teams and proficiency with tools like Jira and Azure DevOps. Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), backlog management, writing user stories, developing project roadmaps, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is required. A Bachelor's degree and experience in Encounter Data Submissions, Medicare/Medicaid products, CASX12, and SQL are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Owner will maximize the value of products delivered by Agile teams by serving as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams. Key responsibilities include prioritizing work, making decisions, and defining product direction, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to refine product requirements. They will facilitate Agile ceremonies, monitor product performance, address production issues, communicate updates to leaders, and identify product gaps and opportunities for improvement. This role focuses on product strategy, stakeholder collaboration, and Agile delivery within a Medicaid environment, and does not involve project management or technical development.
