Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of product management experience or relevant experience
  • Experience working with data products or data infrastructure (streaming or analytics), preferably with knowledge of tools like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs and Databricks
  • Familiarity with SQL or similar query languages, and willingness to learn others
  • Strong collaboration as well as written, verbal and visual communication skills as many teams will be dependent on the data platform and you will be a primary resource for data-related questions

Responsibilities

  • Define data products and delivery mechanisms
  • Gather data needs and requirements from product and engineering teams
  • Define and own the product roadmap for robust data quality assessment, processing and storing telematics data
  • Create and manage data platform usage dashboards to enable data-driven roadmap development
  • Provide data transparency
  • Document data definitions for use by other teams and enable them to self-serve data as much as possible
  • Collaborate with data engineers and vehicle and quality engineers to establish and monitor key data observability/quality metrics (e.g., completeness, accuracy, latency)
  • Create transparent data quality dashboards and reporting tools to ensure clear communication with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional communication to notify and align teams on data platform changes and issues along with their impact on downstream applications and services
  • Answer telematics data related questions
  • Be a point of contact for upstream teams
