Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience as product manager, solutions consultant or product developer
  • Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of payment and payment technology
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin language
  • Proven experience in product management within payments or fintech

Responsibilities

  • Help to define and drive ownership for the product roadmap of the China localisation Programme, aligning with Visa’s global strategy and regulatory mandates
  • Translate business requirements into detailed use cases and prioritise features using agile methodologies
  • Ensure all product components meet Chinese data localisation and cybersecurity regulations
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and cross functional product and technology teams to validate regulatory adherence
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and regional business teams to deliver localisation milestones
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and strategic partners
  • Drive business planning, cross functional backlog prioritisation, and oversee acceptance testing
  • Drive continual integration with Client Support Teams to ensure commercialisation and go live activities are successful
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure timely delivery and operational readiness
  • Incorporate customer insights into product decisions to enhance usability and trust
  • Support client onboarding and implementation for localised services
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for localisation dependencies
