Requirements

  • 5+ years working in customer facing product
  • Ideally, experience at a Fintech (not imperative)
  • Passionate about Product and excited by the journey with full of ideas for what’s next
  • Evidence of successful products built (either zero to one product or significantly moved the needle on metrics for previous products)
  • Products loved by customers, combining quantitative and qualitative evidence to make customer insights central to decision-making
  • Clear understanding of how products differentiate and fit target market’s specific needs
  • Outcomes focused and highly proactive, taking ownership for the product’s success (beyond immediate remit)
  • Decisions backed by data, with a test and learn approach

Responsibilities

  • Lead a user experience focused team owning onboarding, early engagement, rewards, account benefits, and other high-impact features to ensure customers are excited by the product
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Product Designer and design team to create an optimised and differentiated Current Account customer experience
  • Problem solve with engineers in the team on building solutions, helping make right trade-offs for speedy delivery of value and fast learning
  • Ensure everything built is beautiful, valuable, viable, usable, and feasible, with help from engineers and designers
  • Keep an eye on the bigger picture, involved in work of Current Account platform and operational teams to ensure alignment
  • Build close relationships with key stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Brand, Legal, Finance) to effectively and collaboratively solve problems
  • Work closely with the Current Account Product Lead on over-arching product strategy for customer acquisition
  • Strategise how to design and build core CA proposition and main experiences (e.g., pots, paying bills) in a highly autonomous, high ownership role
