Extensive experience in product development and management, particularly in payments technology or related industries
Proven ability to build products from existing ideas and develop new ideas based on industry experience and customer contact
Strong analytical skills to develop complex data and unique concepts for business cases, pricing, and decision-making
Experience managing product P&L for initiatives with annual revenues of approximately $500k or more (international segment)
Ability to define pricing strategies considering competitive models, internal costs, value proposition, and market adoption
Expertise in conducting structured market research (industry publications, analyst research, client surveys, experiential research)
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, support, product development, IT, legal, vendors, senior management, and key customers
Capability to act independently with wide latitude in determining methods and procedures for product strategy
Responsibilities
Provide direction to product development and the overall process of the product and services function
Increase profitability of existing products and services while developing new solutions to advance business objectives and client needs
Define the approach and manage the process from product development to product launch for complex and unique product initiatives, ensuring alignment with project plans
Own, manage, and communicate product roadmaps, including competitive analysis with industry analysts and prioritization with delivery, sales, and relationship management teams
Develop and lead "go to market packaging," collaborating with product marketing on strategies, value proposition, pricing analysis, and marketing collateral
Define pricing strategies for new and existing products and present recommendations to executive management
Develop comprehensive business cases for new product functionality to support decision-making, prioritization, pricing, and client value proposition
Lead collaboration with business leaders, sales, IT, legal, strategic marketing, and relationship management teams to define product goals, objectives, market positioning, and pricing
Ensure a structured, repeatable process for market research and distill data to inform strategic product roadmaps
Lead and oversee facilitation of product concepts and requirements workshops with clients and internal development teams
