Requirements
Candidates should possess proven product management experience, demonstrating expertise in data governance, security and privacy, compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, and enterprise software. A deep understanding of modern data architectures, metadata management, and the challenges of governing distributed data systems at scale is essential, as is working knowledge of the modern data stack including Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt.
Responsibilities
As Senior Product Manager for Data Governance, you will shape the product vision for Atlan’s governance suite, including features like granular access controls, SCIM provisioning, custom metadata frameworks, and policy orchestration. You will partner with engineering to set technical direction and ensure seamless integration, build relationships with enterprise customers through user research and feedback, translate governance requirements into intuitive product features, lead cross-functional initiatives, define success metrics, track adoption, and develop go-to-market strategies. Additionally, you will work closely with marketing to articulate technical capabilities to various audiences.
