Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or suitable combination of education, experience, or training)
  • Minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
  • Expert Product Management and Merchandising skills with expert understanding of the product process
  • Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, and retail math
  • Strong business management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate, lead, negotiate, and influence
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
  • Global sense of awareness (knowledge of current world events, respect and appreciation for other cultures)
  • Experience with Keynote, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of athletes, marketplace, and consumer landscape
  • Passion or interest in Global Football (Soccer) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and cultivate key relationships with teams, leagues, clubs, and federations
  • Recognize and analyze consumer and competitive trends in key global markets
  • Leverage athlete, consumer, and marketplace insights to translate into impactful product narratives and strategies that resonate locally
  • Lead and collaborate with specialized product teams to deliver innovative and high-performance products for athletes
  • Collaborate with local teammates to deliver compelling retail assortments for consumers
  • Analyze current business performance (e.g., bookings and sell-through by channel, country, GEO, style, and color)
  • Understand consumer needs and analyze product and competitive trends in team markets
  • Apply expert understanding of product creation, delivery, and pricing needs to decision-making
  • Create and communicate a vision for product categories through storytelling and consumer-right strategies
  • Serve as business spokesperson at key product creation meetings
  • Direct team agreements on product line, costing, and pricing needs for consumers, markets, and channels
  • Drive execution of key initiatives
  • Lead product creation process through interactions with design, graphic design, materials, tech design, merchandising, development, and operations
  • Oversee or create presentations to sell-in the product
  • Conduct line planning and briefing to appropriate style/SKU level to optimize productivity, margin, and revenue
  • Develop, maintain, and foster key relationships between clubs, federations, and Nike Sports Marketing
