Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end experiences across Otter — owning how restaurateurs run, manage, and grow their business using Otter’s tools, shaping a platform that drives both revenue and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and ops to launch features that simplify complex workflows like item setup, pricing, availability, and modifiers—always with scalability and usability in mind
  • Lead design critiques and cross-functional reviews to refine ideas quickly, iterate on solutions, and ensure solving the right problems with the right level of craft
  • Contribute to the design system, evolving shared patterns that power consistent experiences across everything from single-menu edits to multi-brand management
  • Champion user-centered design, advocating for restaurant operators, delivery staff, and internal teams—while balancing real-world business trade-offs and technical constraints
