Candidates should possess a strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design expertise across web and mobile platforms, 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or tech environments, experience designing and executing large-scale projects from concept to launch, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and experience with user research and testing, proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and a keen understanding of design systems, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to present work confidently to stakeholders. Self-motivation and the capability to lead design efforts with minimal guidance, along with experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments where adaptability is key, are also required.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design discussions and define strategy for key product initiatives, translating user needs into intuitive and scalable solutions; collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to drive work from discovery through delivery; execute thoughtful, high-quality design work with a strong attention to detail, ensuring alignment with FieldEdge's goals and Xplor’s broader design system; own user research efforts — plan, conduct, and synthesize insights to inform your designs and improve the user experience; design seamless, user-friendly mobile experiences for both iOS and Android platforms, with a deep understanding of platform best practices and constraints; confidently present your work and rationale to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, adapting communication to your audience; participate and facilitate design critiques, encouraging feedback and collaboration across teams; mentor junior designers and contribute to team culture, growth, and shared learning; contribute to and evolve design systems, pattern libraries, and documentation to ensure consistency across the platform; and be willing to work EDT/CDT hours.
