Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and ideally have 7+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on complex technical products. A strong understanding of design systems, user research methodologies, and interaction design principles is required, along with experience designing for data-driven workflows and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with agile development processes and experience working with engineering teams is also desired.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the design vision for dbt Labs’ orchestration and CI/CD features, creating intuitive experiences for enterprise customers to manage their data workflows. You will design AI-enabled features for CI/CD, create seamless experiences bridging dbt Core and Cloud, conduct user research sessions with data practitioners, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to take concepts from research through to production, ultimately ensuring data teams can deliver more reliable data products faster and achieve tangible cost savings.
