Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of design systems principles and methodologies, with a proven ability to create scalable and reusable design components. Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite is required, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field. Familiarity with front-end development technologies and design thinking processes is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Designer, Design Systems will contribute to the Monzo Design Systems vision by building on existing foundations and embedding delight into components and patterns. They will ensure uniformity and coherence in Monzo’s experience across platforms and channels, enhancing the customer journey. This role involves scaling the Design Systems across channels, expanding and evolving the Business Banking Web Design System, and building the Design System for the .com sites. Additionally, they will play a key role in componentisation, collaboration with product managers and engineers, and supporting designers across collectives to contribute more effectively.
