A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end thinking across complex, multi-platform products, including research, concepting, systems, interaction, and visual design, is essential. Systems thinking and a passion for building scalable experiences are also required.
The Senior Product Designer will drive design strategy for foundational member experiences across multiple products, platforms, and teams, including navigation, personalization, and AI-assisted workflows. They will lead 0→1 product design for AI-powered tools for members and providers, collaborating with product, engineering, data analytics, and research partners. This role involves partnering with engineering and product leadership to evolve and scale Maven’s design system for consistency, accessibility, and craft across web, iOS, and Android platforms. Responsibilities also include collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build roadmaps, define product vision, and prioritize design opportunities, conducting user research to validate ideas and shape product direction, designing and shipping high-quality experiences throughout the product development cycle, facilitating design critiques and workshops, and contributing to Maven’s design culture through sharing work and mentoring peers.
