Position Overview

As a Senior Product Designer, you will focus on the international growth and localization of Coinbase One, a key offering for Coinbase's most engaged crypto traders and enthusiasts. Your role will involve developing a deep understanding of international users' needs and designing high-quality, region-specific experiences to enhance membership benefits and scale Coinbase One globally. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to define and execute Coinbase One’s international roadmap, including the introduction of bespoke benefits for regions and the integration of local payment methods.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Ownership: Own the entire user journey and all aspects of design execution, from ideation and prototyping to user testing and final production.
• Quality Enhancement: Raise the quality bar with rigorous attention to detail across languages, cultures, and devices, adapting to regional requirements and considering edge cases.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and XFN peers to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Global Vision Alignment: Collaborate with international and horizontal product teams to garner alignment on Coinbase One’s global vision.
• Design Critiques: Participate in regular design critiques to receive and provide feedback on design work.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of product design experience. Prior experience with localization for international audiences is a bonus.
• Communication: Strong communicator with a track record of influencing product direction and aligning stakeholders on complex products at scale.
• Design Mastery: Sharp attention to detail and mastery over your craft, particularly in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Adaptability: Ability to balance quality and speed in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
• Tool Proficiency: Fluency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
• Teamwork: Collaborative, low-ego team player with a growth mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: £122,400 - £136,000 GBP
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Additional Compensation: Full-time offers include target bonus and target equity.
