You’ll join the Experience Transformation team; a multidisciplinary group focused on solving real customer needs while advancing strategic goals. As part of this team, you’ll help shape the future of our mobile apps and elevate the digital experience for our members.

What You’ll Do

  • Design best-in-class native mobile experiences (iOS and Android) that simplify and elevate how members engage with their health plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners—Product, Engineering, Content, and Research—to bring bold, user-centered ideas to life.
  • Contribute to design efforts across multiple mobile teams, balancing business goals with exceptional user experiences.
  • Apply and uphold mobile design standards, patterns, and principles to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Create early concepts, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to guide development and spark alignment.
  • Contribute to and evolve our enterprise design system, ensuring mobile needs are well-represented and future-ready.
  • Stay plugged into product goals, user needs, design trends, research insights, and the broader Humana digital ecosystem.
  • Design with purpose—helping people navigate their health with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or Interaction Designer, with a strong emphasis on native mobile app design (iOS and Android).
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft intuitive, user-centered mobile experiences is required.
  • High proficiency in Figma, including advanced use of design systems, prototyping, and collaboration features.
  • Experience designing for both iOS and Android platforms, with a deep understanding of platform-specific guidelines and cohesive cross-platform design.
  • Proven ability to design complex, transactional mobile interfaces that are scalable, accessible, and easy to use.
  • Skilled in creating user flows, conceptual models, site maps, design patterns, and detailed specifications.
  • Experience contributing to or evolving a mobile-focused design system.
  • Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions that enhance usability and bring moments of delight to mobile experiences.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
