Requirements

  • Experience developing ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business, including Annual Maintenance Contract/Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract sales and renewals
  • Proficiency in instructing clients on proper usage and operation of equipment
  • Competence in documenting and maintaining clients’ service logs and preparing reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues
  • Ability to escalate issues to relevant engineering teams
  • Skills to manage daily schedule while maintaining proper and timely communications with customers, dispatch, managers, regional, and cross-functional teams
  • Adherence to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control
  • Completion of all required training and meeting individual job requirements to contribute to organizational compliance
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to provide technical and administrative support, including repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment within a geographical region (Illinois), providing high-level service, increasing customer happiness, and achieving financial objectives
  • Provide timely technical services on Alcon surgical equipment, including phone support, onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation, and other service-related duties
  • Communicate equipment problems, quality issues, and customer concerns to appropriate in-house personnel within established guidelines
  • Manage expenses and perform duties within budgetary guidelines
  • Strategically promote, educate, and market Alcon services to customers
  • Accurately handle company assets (company vehicle, test equipment, computer, etc.)
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation on services performed
  • Ensure Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment functions effectively through troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades
